Although there are far too few memories I have of my grandfather since I didn't really spend much time with him, there are a few that come to mind.
1. The smile on his face as he spun our neighbor, Lisa, on the dance floor at my wedding. You could tell he thought of himself as quite the ladies man to be dancing with such a pretty younger woman. It was the first time I had seen him truly enjoying himself since being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. That is my favorite memory and the one that stands out the most.
2. How he used to talk like Donald Duck "boy oh boy oh boy" to make us laugh. He could do it so well. My dad can do it to but not like Grandpa!
3. Him whistling to his cockatiel. My grandparents didn't have a dog or a cat but man, did he like his bird.
4. Watching him run his laps around his swimming pool to keep in shape.
