Dip-piddy Do Da!
DIP-piddy do da! A temperature dip and another positive OPK test! Many women who do fertility charting do see a dip the day of ovulation, but many do not. A temperature dip cannot confirm ovulation. More important than observing a dip, is seeing a temperature rise after ovulation. A woman’s temperature rises in response to the presence of the heat-inducing hormone progesterone, which is only released after ovulation. I am just one of those lucky enough to have advanced warning of ovulation in the form of a temperature dip (especially since I have already had a positive OPK test result yesterday) so I can take advantage of the situation, wink wink!
